The census returns state that she was born at Onehouse, Suffolk. I have checked the baptism registers for Onehouse, Great Finborough, Combs and also Stowmarket without success. Was she indeed Baptised as an infant ? Was she Baptised as an adult ? If so, where ? [It is interesting to note that none of her children / Marriages 8 Dec 1844 Susanna Lyas and Joseph Sparham at Norton Susanna's father is given as Jonathan Mingay Collins, a basket maker, witnesses are John and Mary Moss. 23 Oct 1847 *Susanna Sparham and Edward Wright at Woolpit Susanna's father is given as John Moss. 7 Sep 1853 *Susanna Wright and James Pollard at Stowmarket Register Office, The name of Susanna's father is not given. Witnesses are Mathias Marriott (blacksmith, Tostock] and Eliza Marriott. *Now becomes Susan. Information supplied by Tonie Pollard, great-grandson of Susanna.
