Moved to European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt in 1973 as design team of Multi Satellite Support System working with SPL.Became Manager of all SPL technical projects in Germany, Switzerland and Austria 1995. Started own company, Ingeneurbuero Schofield in 1977. Moved back to England in 1985 to Inmarsat as Satellite Control system expert. Became project manager for all technical IT systems for Inmarsat and deputy director of Network Division. Left Inmarsat in 1998 to start Time Is Ltd.
